Design my Sandberg VM tribute - medium scale

Hoping to make a medium scale version of a Sandberg VM California.

Back story -------------------

Lucked into a nice Warmoth that I couldn't justify otherwise.

Love the pickups (P / MM) and the inlaid rosewood neck.

Not loving the color (natural) or the pearloid pickguard.

Color ideas? Relic?

Suggestions?

Personally, I’m partial to natural, but totally get it if that’s not your thing. Pearloid has never worked for me...

How about Robin Egg Blue with a bwb guard? Sea Foam Green would heat me up as well.

And congrats on the medium scale!! I can’t play 34” very comfortably anymore but love 32”!

Robin Egg blue? If that is that same light blue that Squier CV P basses came in... that's a winner.

Sure looks like Dakota red, but is actually Sandberg-metallic-red.

That's beautiful grain. How about a translucent stain?
