Hello, new player here, approximately 1 year in. Recently started recording myself as a learning tool - it certainly highlight one's shortcomings doesn't it!
.
Anyway the biggest thing revealed is that my notes almost always cut off before the next note starts - not in a good way.
Most of the instruction I've found on legato technique focuses on using hammer-ins and pull-offs, but I believe I need something more basic than that - just better technique for smoother playing.
Other than "hold the first note until the next note begins" does anyone have any tips or "cues" to guide me towards smoother more fluid playing?
Many thanks for any ideas.
