Devin Townsend Project - Transcendence

Anyone else heard this yet? The songs and production are stellar. I've been a fan of Devin for a long time and I think this is one of his best ever releases. Thoughts?

I didn't much care for this one. Seemed kind of watered down to me, probably a condequence of how much material he's been releasing of late.

The last 5 years have been pretty hit or miss for me with his stuff: Loved Casualties of Cool, didn't like Epicloud, loved Sky Blue, didn't like Z2. This one's just kinda meh.

Hopefully his symphony is cool, I'd love to hear him incorporate some of his Deconstuction/Strapping era wackiness into it.
