DI or mic

Hey, I have a gig saturday and I am not sure whether I should mic my amp or use a DI. If it matters, I have a 100 watt Ampeg B100-R with a DI box if i chose not to mic the amp. What have you done in the past, and what are the pros and cons of each? Thank you.

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I am using an Ampeg B100R right now in an acoustic funk/rock group and I think it sounds great mic'ed. I don't think you could go wrong either way. However, if you are concerned about bleed from other instruments, go with the DI.

i personally prefer to mic, the di makes the sound a little too "clean" for me, my speakers are a part of my sound and i incorporate them as often as possible. the downside of the mic is lack of isolation of just bass, but for me, it was never enough to matter. if there are enough channels run both!
