That being said, the JDI's "Speaker emulation" is much more transparent than that of the JDX. When comparing between the two, I decided to keep the JDI because of the larger freq range. The JDX sounded great. It didn't have the buzz the JDI had (because the freq was filtered out) and sounded much better with distortion. However, it's easier to remove something than add it back, so I stayed with the JDI.
