Diamond BCP-1 - $220 gone
Diamond BCP-1 <-- ovnilab review
What more do I need to say? Want to glaze your tone in fat, greasy, shiny, non-vegetarian goodness? Then this is for you. Got a good deal from Prymaxe, paid $220. Mint, never used, never even taken out of the box. I opened the box to show that you get all the bits, cable + adapter + unfilled warranty card etc. Serial #1595, one of the newer ones with all updates. Passing it along because I have limited board space and waited a year to buy my current FEA.

Zeibek Electronix Stronghold - $105 sold
I've had a Submarine...twice. Both came and went because they didn't enhance my sound as well as this little guy. From the website: Stronghold is not a glorified EQ, tone shaping is just a part of what it does. It’s a professional preamp that can drive a PA easily. It can be used in conjunction with other type of effects pedals. It is a very useful tool when you go direct to a mixing console, both on the stage and in the studio. It successfully eliminates feedback issues associated with stage volume. You know what this pedal reminds me of? The BJFE Sea Blue EQ...except without the preset shelf points. In fact, it reminded me of it so much so that I ended up trading the SBEQ *o*

Daring Audio Edge Activator HD - $145
Really, really cool pedal with a glorious midrange eq. It's a harmonic optimizer. Take sound ----> insert into front of mix if desired, or just use it to add some girth and definition to your notes. Either way, does it job in excellent fashion!

Dr Scientist The Cleanness - $145
Limited run of 1 GOLD enclosure. Really snazzy. Excellent little EQ/Buffer/Booster. No hiss either, whisper quiet. Shelving points are very carefully chosen and are simply musical. It's not a knob-twiddly para-eq, which I loved, but there is an important difference...you get a pedal like the Para EQ to eliminate or downplay certain frequencies to get rid of boominess for example. You get a pedal like this to ADD smoothness and thump. It's not totally transparent, but what it adds you want to have!

All pedals are mint, except for the Stronghold which also has some lettering rubbed off and easily removable Velcro on the bottom.

As far as trades go, I'm really only looking for:
- FEA DB-CL (newer one)
- Burkey Flatliner 6
- Spaceman Mercury III

Please give me your address and I'll calculate shipping cost.

Got a question via PM and did some digging...

The shelving points of the Cleanness are:
Bass = 100 hz
Mid = 800 hz
Treble = 2.6 kHz

Each operate on an audio curve, with the midrange being the widest. The points are very, very well chosen and the result is a musical tone no matter what setting you have each of them on. It really is a "magic dust" sort of box and I wouldn't be heartbroken keeping it. Why sell it? FEA labs makes some damn good stuff, that's why.

Just the daring audio and the cleanness left...
DA's are hard to come by used and the good Doctor doesn't make Cleannesses anymore.

Gotta say, kinda surprised the DA is still around. Especially the HD version. Those sell so quickly usually. Not FEA or pwnzor quickly, but still.

The Cleanness, I can understand. Not a widely used little pedal, but wildly useful and excellent sounding. It's also a clean boost with lots of power on tap, and a buffer. Works well pretty much anywhere in the chain. I used it last after fuzzes and compressors, and it just made the tone sweet sounding. Why sell it? I'm really not sure, just the merry go round of gear I suppose.
