Did Geddy Lee use a phaser?

I read on here once that Geddy Lee used a phaser at the end of La Villa Strangiato. I looked it up online but never found any information about it. Does anyone know what phaser it was?

I think it's a chorus. The original Boss Chorus perhaps. Geddy's known for using this pedal in that period of time.

the funny thing is, that if you crank it down slow enough, a chorus sounds just like a slow phaser.

It wasn't a pedal phaser, That was some PP "Studio Magic" from the sound engineer. If you listen closely, you will notice that the drums are phased as well.

I've been listening to La Villa Strangiato more, and it sounds like there was probably a phaser at the end of the song. It sounds a lot like a synthesizer to me (I'm assuming that is what phasing does).

Technically, that's called "flanging", because it was achieved by placing your finger on the flange of the tape reel to slow it down slightly. But flangers and phasers are very similar-sounding. I'm not really sure what the difference is between the two.

I've always thought Geddy used a Flanger on some 'Moving Pictures' era songs. Here I am using a BDDI and a Boss Flanger on a Vital Signs cover.
