Did Lakland ever make a Shoreline series?

I saw a bass for sale on reverb and the sticker on the headstock says Shorline series.
I have never seen this before.
Also, it was listed as a 4-94 which I thought were only American made.
Any info would be appreciated.

are you sure? After doing some GoogleFu it seem Dan claims it's a license deal for JAPAN ONLY and that they NEVER get inspected or setup by Lakland. Unlike the Skylines which are inspected and setup by lakeland
Of course I am limited in my scope of knowledge on this one.

I don't think anything about them other than what they look like is really Lakland. It's seems it was a money grab for Dan that he wishes he hadn't done.
