Difference between the Pyramid flat B .126 and the single .124?

I have a set of Pyramid flats on my Moollon JV (keep going back and forth between them and the TI’s), and while I love the E-G on the Pyramids, the B is thud. I have read here I think about different construction options for the B (hex/round, non-tapered), and I was curious if there is a difference between the .124 and the .126 Pyramid flat. The .126 comes with the set, so I am assuming there is a difference with the .124? I would just like the clarity I’m getting on the other four strings if possible and if I could get that with a Pyramid B, that would be great. Anyone?

No clue as to your question. I would expect no detectable difference in tone from such a smsiil difference in diameter; then again, they may offer both precisely because they make them differently. I suppose you could shoot them an email (auf englisch is fine) and ask.

Speaking of core, can you take a look (or, even better, a pic) at the ball end of your Pyramid Gold flatwound .126 low B, and ascertain if the loop of string core around the ball-end grove is hex-section, or round?
