Differences between Sadowsky models (Modern, sandard, vintage...)

Hi,

I'm really having a hard time finding the differences between the different Sadowsky models.
What's the main difference between a Modern, a Standard and a Vintage model?
It looks like the preamp layout might be the main difference. But are there any others?

The Standards have downsized bodies and, as far as I'm aware, no pickguards or control plates. The Vintage basses have larger bodies, pickguards and control plates. Moderns have their own distinct body shape with soapbars in a position which helps emphasize a very tight and mid-focused sound (tone-wise they are quite different from the Jazz, P or PJ). Also, they have 24 frets and typically feature a diamond layout for the controls.

Also, both my Moder5 and my Vintage 5 seem to have the same bodies:

I forgot about the Ultra Vintage Sadowskys. Those are the ones with full-size bodies.

For the rest, it would seem that different configurations borrow from the basic designs. So the singlecut is probably called “Standard” because it has no pickguard or control plate (and probably features an undersize body). And, yes, the 24 fret Jazz borrows from the Modern for the body shape.
