First of all, this is not a BDDI vs PDDI post and I have also done a number of searches on this topic. I hope to gain some insight from those of you who have owned both
I am just wondering what are the flat tonal differences between these 2 DIs? I understand the lack of a presence knob and the addition of sweepable mids. However with EQ set flat on both boxes and drive/blends set accordingly, will they sound exactly the same?
Pretty much, I own the BDDI and absolutely love some of the tones i can get from it. However i sometimes crave the extra mids. I want to know that if i bought a PDDI that i'd still be able to get BDDI tones. Are there any cons about having the PDDI instead? Or is it just an upgraded version?
