Dimarzio DP126 J pickup replacement - need the heat!

I got this set in my PJ LTD bass and loving the P pickups. The J not so much. Its too weak and I want something hotter to better match the Ps. Looks like the Model J is the bridge in the DP126 set with an output of 150/ 6.82k.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for as a replacement? I play heavy rock/stoner rock and into a little "metalish" territory.

The model P are extremely hot it self.
Try lower it to match wirh the model J Volume. Of cause you need increase the model J pup before the tone gets chorus effects.

I have great result with model PJ on my pj bass. Some PJ bass I been try has no one sound like DP126.

I actually bought the DP148. I love the sound of the P pickups in their current height. Will see if the hotter 148 will match well.

The 12K ohm DP148 output less than Model J to my ear. Work well with any std wound P pup.
