DiMarzio triple pickup ? ?

I have never seen a 3 pickup bass with this exact configuration. So, I would like to see what people's thoughts are ? ?

- 1st I am thinking a reversed DiMarzio Relentless middle pickup in the bridge position,
right next to the bridge, touching the bridge.

- then in the neck position I am thinking a DiMarzio Split P blades DP127. I want this pickup hard up against the neck, touching.
Each half of the double blade Split P is a full complete humbucker.

- then exactly in the middle of the 2 precision pickups, measured exactly in the middle,
I would like a DiMarzio Relentless neck pickup.


Go for it, give me your thoughts on a DiMarzio triple pickup bass in this exact configuration ? ?

I would probably put the Spit-P at the bridge, as I think it would perform the best in that position. Next, I would put the DP296 in the middle and the DP295 at the neck, as they would probably perform the best in their intended positions.

I would not put any pickup on any bass right up against the bridge. You lose too much low end that way.
