I really cannot believe I’m doing this but I’m putting this on the chopping block. A Dingwall NG3 in Black Forest Green. I gifted this to myself after I got my Oregon pharmacist’s license. The green is supposed to symbolize Oregon and even the last three of the serial number (541) is the area code for the majority of the state. I’m just having trouble dialing in a more versatile set of tones out of the pickups and I would prefer a more traditional 5 string anyway.
Got this in early February from Fret Nation; I then took it to a local tech to file (and lubricate with graphite) the nut to accommodate 160-106-82-63 strings for drop G tuning. Currently it is in BEAD with 130-105-80-60 and before that it was in DGCF with 105-85-65-45. It plays effortlessly and is easy to setup. Using smaller gauge strings is no problem. There are 3 imperfections, all pictured. One is no finish on the edge of the battery compartment (I’m pointing to it), another one is no finish on the lower neck pocket (hard to notice actually), and the last one is a chip on the nut close to the lowest string.
Ships free to CONUS only via UPS Ground. I will include some string sets that I’ve experimented with. I can do local meetups in the Medford/Rogue Valley area and down south from Weed/Shasta to Sacramento, California.
For trades I’m mainly looking for a 5 string of less value, plus cash my way. Nothing with a 19mm spacing please. Weight does not matter to me. I am also interested in a nice 1x12” combo like a GK or EICH.
