Disaster Area gHOST Converter and 2-way Midi Signal

I have a Wahoo and a Pitchfactor that I want to connect with midi.
- Send expression over midi from the Wahoo to the PF
- Send PC messages from the PF to the Wahoo

Since the Wahoo only has midi over USB, I will need a converter. I will most likely get the Disaster Area gHOST converter as the input power (9 vdc) is much more compatible with my power supply compared to the Kenton midi USB host (5 vdc).

I checked with Sonuus and Eventide and they both indicate that this could be done, however, neither has tested this setup. I have sent inquiries to Disaster Area, but they have not responded.

I assume the connection is as straightforward as I envision:
Wahoo USB -> gHOST USB host input
PF midi out -> gHOST midi in
PF midi in -> gHOST midi out

Unfortunately, I don´t have a way test this set up without making some purchase – either the gHOST converter or midi-usb cables for pc connection. If I am going to make a purchase, may as well get the gHOST converter since that is how this will be used.

My midi experience is limited to basically a SA hub with Gecko for PC messages, so this is a big step for me.

As a side note, it really sucks that Sonuus did not include 5-pin midi on the Wahoo, although it is included on the Voluum.
