Disconnecting for the first time in years...

For the last 20 years or so, I have always been available for my job. Not that I haven't had vacations, I have just always been available for emergencies (funny how everything is an emergency nowadays!).

This year I am trying something new, I am disconnecting!

I have passed on the relevant info to the relevant parties, I have disconnected my WhatsApp, Skype and even set my email to manual sync.

For the next 2 weeks I am in a whole new world, who knows what will happen, maybe I might even buy a P bass :D

I know a guy who put his phone in the hotel safe the last time he vacationed. Only his wife knew the password. He had a problem with not being able to disconnect from work on vacation (he owns an ad agency), so he figured that was the only way to do it.

Hi @JACink it is Bob from work. I tried all of your other contacts and could not get you so here I am.
I was trying to make coffee this morning and there was no power to the machine. I know this is not your department but what should we do? Everyone kept flipping the ON/OFF switch but got nothing, even Jenny tried so you do not want to ask her for anything more today.
Help please.

Oh, hey @JACink, Bob from work again. So The Mail Lady came to drop off the mail and noticed we were all yelling at each other because we are off of coffee and could not get this darn machine to work.
Well she went right over to it and got it going in just a few seconds.
Turns out it was unplugged.

Sorry for bothering you, have a good vacation.
