Disinterested people at Superbowl parties

So I cant be the only one biding my time on talkbass while at a SuperBowl party with zero interest in the game.

Nothing really to say, but Thought it would be cool to see how many others are out there.

Its a social thing, and I'm not a sociable person. My wife however is the butterfly. Smartphones are awesome.

Just off the phone to my sister in Ft. Lauderdale who is hosting a super bowl party...she doesn't even know what teams are playing!
She's in it for the food everyone brings along.

We're throwing a mini-party with grilled cheese sandwiches followed by ice cream.
It's to celebrate the end of foozball season.

Not much interest in who is winning the game here. We're in Houston, I'm in my Oiler jersey, Texans jerseys around me.


Some care, some don't care , some are betting on every play..........

Kind of wished I got more into watching sports, I just didn't.

If strangers (cashiers, barbers, etc.) ask who I'm rooting for in any particular sport or game, I always reply,"who's playing?".

Yes. We have a ten year old that is incredibly gifted. Plays year round. She had training with the coaches from Manchester U last year, and they were impressed. She plays against 12 year old boys and kicks their butt.

Here she is with players/coaches from Manchester U last year during a seminar. She got a signed jersey. They are like rock stars to her.
