distortion or fuzz for this FAILURE song?

Hey all. So I'm aware of the three dirt pedals that Greg Edwards used during the Magnified days (Green Big Muff, Maestro Fuzz, Rat), but which pedal does it sound like he used for this song:

It's super saturated, so maybe a fuzz?

Yeah the Heliotropic clips sound insane! But as far as this track, does it sound like a fuzz or just the Rat on the highest gain setting?

Exactly. That pedal didn't exist then, but its what you want now for that particular tone.

On tour, they're using the Axe-FX II for all guitar and bass tones. This would be courtesy of a super saturated Green Muff with a Boss EQ on the original recording (to add some low kids and treble slice). I have also copped a similar tone with the Diabolik.

There's more in that sound than just the muff and eq. One or two more important trade secrets .

I was the one that was personally asked, by Kellii, to get in touch with Ryan concerning acquiring the Heliotropic for the reunion shows. The decision to go with the Axe-FX II came later in the game. That request, for the record, came before the rehearsals even went down for the reunion shows. Oh...there was no need for you to be douchey about it, either. Toodles!
