I'm not what you'd call a metal fan, and I'm not sure if this band is still considered metal, but I really like their cover of The Sound of Silence.

Disturbed

I believe that was originally done by Simon & Garfunkel. Disturbed is sort of metal, in sound anyways. They're pretty radio friendly, as you no doubt know. If you like them, that's great. Be sure to go see them live when they come through your town.
