A friend of mine wants to replace the speakers in his 810 Cab. We were discussing it and tried to research it but couldn't find any real help online. What he wants is something that can handle over 1000 watts and has an ohm rating of 4 ohms. So I was wondering what people recommend as far as speakers, series/parallel wiring, and what type of inputs to use(speakon, 1/4 inch, XLR)? Any advise or tips would be very greatly appreciated.
