woo, I've just started talking with Lakland (Brian Gingrich) about a custom DJ5 in lake placid blue with a maple board and ebony block inlays.

that's the only DJ with a maple board that i could find a photo of on the internet.

anyway, this bass is at least 2 years off (the USA build turnaround time is 8 months, alongside me actually finding the money.)

really excited about it though!

That does look really nice, although I've always had a thing with white pickguards.
Should be a killer bass!
