DMark Fusion 6

DMark Fusion 6 – was my 3rd DMark – and been my #1 for the past 6 months. My 4th arrived this week and my 5th DMark ships today which is a direct replacement for this Fusion.

Not selling to raise cash. This bass was always meant to be a placeholder. This was before I joined the DMark artist roster and it was the only available Fusion in the US when I bought it, but I really connected with it and have played it daily. The bass is 7 months old as far as birth date, but it is not mint as it has been well recorded and gigged since I have had it. But it still is in fantastic condition.

Unlisted Compilation Vid

Blue/Black/Maple
24 fret
19 mm
34”
10 lbs (very balanced)
Active/Passive
Hard/Gig Bag Case
Unused DMark Strap
Docs/Certificate
Low action, no buzzing, exceptional quality.

Note:
There are polish swirls, haze, mild scuffs etc and one BB sized lacquer/paint ding on the side. The darker finish makes it impossible to avoid. Because of this and because of my ability to replace the bass - $1900 shipped for TB. (firm).

Trades? Not so much. (But since most ya'll gonna PM and ask no matter what) Vintage Yamaha BB2000 - high-end vintage rack effects and vintage drum machines.

Although these instruments are only $3000-$3500 new here in the US this is Fodera, MTD, FBass quality instrument at Brazilian prices. That said, the brand is growing in the US and prices are rising this year, I know this info directly.

Nice bass!
Very reminiscent of the early AJ models in shape! That’s a great price for a quality build like that!

It’s a condition of something else - few people have any idea what other folks are going through in their lives. I just reply with a thank you at this point.

This beautiful attitude makes total sense given who you are commemorating in your profile pic.

sounds great and sorry about your visual impairment. I had spinal surgery and have issues myself with certain aspects of playing so I can identify. How accurate is your weight measurement? I have a dmark omega which was 10lbs (prior to my putting ultralight tuners on it) and that's about the heaviest I could endure. Do you have any clips doing fingerstyle funk grooves where I can hear the low B string?

Thanks Jack, appreciate that man.

Omega 5’s rival the 6’s in weight, mine is the same. They sound so smooth though. Both Alpha 6’s are under 10 but coming from JP2s at 12 lbs, this was weight reduction.
I’ll pop it on my hanging scale (pretty well right at 10lbs), I wouldn’t hold out hopes. I’ll see about laying down a quick groove. I do use this clear low B on 75% of my playing.

DMark ships these/sets up their basses with Giannini Nickel .30-.125 and the B is very tight and sounds great. Since we can’t get those in the states, I found DR Sunbeams NMR30s match in tension and tone.

p.s. the dmark basses are amazing. They get no press in most forums.
They do in Latin America and South America! You know how it is, in the gear gig long enough not to care a bit. I just want excellence and enjoyment. I am going to get two of these scanned on the Plek machine to see what they read. Marcos is building high-end guitars which I have heard and they sound amazing. I definitely want one.

Interesting that he's making guitars. I have never liked through neck guitars but I do on basses. But yeah, I posted once about "why dmark gets so little love" and someone mentioned that hey use a korean bridge and they felt it was a cheap bass. My dmark sounds better than my $4000 custom basses with all "cork-sniffer" parts.

I have been using ernie ball nickel plated extra slinky on my omega and the B sounds amazing.

Zinc? LOL, it seemed to work out for the most popular bass bridge in all of bass history as well as it's imitators. It's the internet, consider the source.
