Do SIT Powerwounds fit a 35" Scale bass?

I just bougt a Yamaha TRB1005j, which has 35" scale neck, and a regular bridge (no stringing through the body). I use the regular long scale SIT Powerwounds 45-125, and wonder if anyone uses them on extended scale basses? Or will I have to order extra long strings?

SIT long scale have a 37.25" +/- winding length.

This is measured from ball end. They will fit if not a string through and depending on the bridge. If from ball end to to nut the string measures less than 37.25" you will be perfect.

Thanks! I prefer to get opinions from players, rather than the manufacturers themselves.
