Are you referring to Acoustic Control Corporation gear from the 70s, or the import stuff that's been out for the last year or so from GC?

I use a 450w Behringer Ultrabass head with the Acoustic 115 and Ampeg 410.

If you are refering to the Acoustic, GC specials. I have the 8-10 cab to leave at my drummers house with an Ampeg SVT 350, and Bass POD. It is a pretty decent sounding Low buck stack, and gets the job done for me. It doesnt quite sound as good as The Ampeg I have at home, but what more would you expect out of a rig that you got $750.00 bucks in.

Its time for me to get a rig myself..I've played nothing but combos(not saying there's anything wrong with that) but i want my own custom sound. I like that acoustic is cheap and doesn't add to much effect to the sound of the bass. I want it all to come from pedals and heads. How do you guys feel about that?
