Do you use the slang word " Mad " ?

I use all kinds of slang in all sorts of contexts. Humor, ease of communication to certain people.

I'm a flippin' verbal chameleon. Constantly changing manner of speech depending on who I am talking to. All eras, all many types of regional as well. Ya wankers.

Flippin and fetchin make the list...... they also call soda "pop"... kinda annoys me.

That whole Utah "fetch" thing as a surrogate term for "f***" drives me absolutely nuts.

This is the same for me. I tried saying it a few times, but I just sounded foolish. I have though adopted the word "grip" to describe a large amount of something.

Nope... I got a letter from the local Chief of Police here directing me to discontinue using the slang word "Mad" in public.. of course I complied ... that was October 1996.

I use "cats" "groovy" and "diggin'" on a fairly regular basis, but I spent almost a decade trying to remove the redneck from my speech - no need to introduce new vernacular.

You must be from Connecticut ... I said Yea, how did you know? .... he said, because you use the word "wicked" all the time.

BTW... I'm too old to use (misuse) terms like "mad" ... OR ... "on point" and "true that" for that matter. However I due use the term "cat" (too many years hanging out with Jazz Musicians )
