DOD Meat Box + Dirt Pedal

Thinking about getting a DOD Meat Box or one of the clones from Mantic, like the Beef Bag or maybe even the Density Hulk. My question is, how well do these sub pedals combine with dirt pedals like overdrive/distortion/fuzz? Also, I've heard these sub pedals can be dangerouse on speakers, so would combining them with dirt amplifiy the possibility of damaging speakers? I always play with my Fuzzrocious Demon as an always on pedal and most of the time I combine it with my Rat Tail or Grey Stache, so it is kind of crucial for me that these sub pedals combine well with my dirt. Also, has anybody heard anything recently about the DOD reissue of the Meat Box? Is it still happening?

Simplest way to combine while maintaining tones you already have would be a boss ls2. Put your dirt in 1 channel and sub in the other. That way you get clean depth with higher grind. I do this with a density hulk and various dirt.

Also no word on an official meatbox reissue, though there is definitely a market for it.

I've had a few meat box's over the last few years. I never had any trouble combining it with anything. I didn't dime it for maximum sub but added heft when needed. You shouldn't have any problems. The Beef Bag is an exact clone. I'd go that route. I may too but am waiting to see if Digitech pops out a reissue.
