I need another bass like I need another bass, right? So, I'm perusing the GC website to see what my local shop may have hanging on the wall. I see one of those road-worn Flea J's for $750. Wait, aren't those like $1200 new? I definitely should take a look. I finally get up there today and was told it was sold online this morning. But, they hadn't wrapped it up yet, so I asked if I could noodle on it a bit. Wow, pretty nice. Action was a little low, but that's easily fixed. Sounded great through the Rumble 500C. I'm afraid my wallet would've been about $750 lighter had it not sold already, luckily. So, I consider that a bullet dodged! Anyone else have a decision made for them in a similar fashion?
