Double Bass Doerfler bows

I think to buy a German Bow from the company Dörfler.

Can you tell me some experience with these bows? Or can recommend me someone another company!

Doerfler are very good bows, depending on the level (student/professional/solo)

I have an Egidius Dorfler Bow. It is the shorter French style bow that they make and the "top of the line" from Dorfler. For the price point, I think that they are a great bow. Well balanced and more responsive than other bows in the same price range. My dorfler bow holds the string well and produces a good tone from the bass. I also have a professional, hand made bow by a modern US bow maker. The Dorfler bow is not in the same caliber as my other bow but it also was considerably less expensive.
