Does a 36" scale typically require a heavier gauge set than a 34" scale?

I'm thinking about acquiring a custom 5-string Overwater with a 36" scale. I currently play a 34" scale 5-string and have graduated to lighter and lighter sets over the years, ending up with LaBella RX-N5As (nickel, round, 40-118). Should I stick with those on the 36" scale, or bump them up to 45-125 or even 45-130 to get a similar kind of feel? Or does the extra 2" have no impact on the required the string gauge?
