Received a new Nash PB55 and am definitely interested in getting some flat wounds installed however the guitar is set up so nice right now that I am hesitant to jump right into having it set up again. I'm trying to figure out what type and gauge of strings came installed so that I can pick a flatwound that may be less of a dramatic change in tension. I've always played the La Bella 760FS but would consider the low tension LTF-4A's if that would make for a better transition from the stock strings. I ordered the Nash through Humbucker Music, so I have also inquired with them about the string type.
I wish the ordering process for custom Nash builds was more direct, rather than through dealers, as it would have been nice to request the strings that I preferred so that it could be set up properly from the start.
