Im trying to find a manufacture that puts new FANE Speakers in the proper new cabinet. Does anyone know of a company that does that?

Does anyone make a FANE COLOSSUS 15" SPEAKER Cabinet

If anyone does it would probably be a British company. Why the interest? It's a nice driver, but no better then the Eminence 3015.
Looks like the Fane has a bit more highs. The Eminence 15 does look like it it has a very flat response curve which is nice too.

Do you know of a company brand name that makes the bass cabinet with that speaker in it?
i was never too keen on Fane stuff. they tended to use cast frames that had a unique mounting scheme and a larger than average mounting hole.

They responded with Sound City cabinet for a guitar. That response has nothing to do with my question for a 15 inch ported Bass Cabinet with a Fane in it. It was a very simple question.
A simple answer was given, none that we on this site or the Manufacturer know of.
Guess that means you will need to build one yourself.

I LIKE the idea of a bass cab with a big woofer that has a 4" diameter voice coil with a high BL motor and a pretty good top end. Imo that's an intriguing combination.
Not to mention the impressive excursion capability implied by the 29 meters (95 feet) long voice coil. See specs on page 2: Invalid Link Removed
All typos aside, if you're considering building your own, I'd suggest looking at a box size in the 2.9 cubic foot ballpark (roughly 2.5 cubic feet after subtracting the volume taken up by the woofer and port), tuned to the lower 50's, as a pretty good balance between low-end output and excursion-limited power handling.

I am more than a little curious about how they managed the 95 foot VC with a depth of only 7.2 inches.

Wow!!! Thank you so much for your response. You have given me more to consider. I did by the Ampeg portaflex 50 watt tube amp.
I used a Fane 15 in a home made cab for a couple of years and i loved it, I have also used Fane guitar speakers, I think Hiwatt at one time used them in their amps. Anyway the a friend loan me the Fane 15, but he started playing again and ask for it back, so I bought a 15 EV speaker and put it in an old PV cab it worked great but I liked the Fane better. Last i heard Fane were high dollar.
