Does Anyone Sell Gibson-style 2x2 Bolt-On Necks?

I know most Gibsons are set-neck. I'm looking for a bolt-on neck with a 2x2 headstock.

Warmoth used to do a Gibson 2x2 headstock, but Gibson's lawyers reached out to them, so they don't do it anymore. (I'm not a fan of the "Warmoth" 2x2 headstock design.)

Does ANYONE manufacture a 2x2 style tiltback replacement neck in a standard Fender-style heel configuration?

I know that Warmoth, USACG, AllParts and Musickraft do not.

EGC used to sell bolt on aluminum necks, but no longer seem to???

Warmoth will do a paddle headstock, but I'll have to trace, shape and drill it myself for tuning machines.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I just noticed that you want it to tilt back. (don't know why, easier to break off)
They make them like how I suggested in the previous response but they come only in 24 fret.

Not too long ago, I saw one (maybe two--memory is a bit fuzzy) 2+2 bass neck in the Warmoth showcase with their Hombre headstock design, which is a bit more Gibson-ish. They were in the showcase section for "Warmoth" 2+2 necks (Invalid Link Removed) and IIRC they were labelled as R&D necks. Not there anymore of course, they weren't there for long, but perhaps it is a sign of something to come. I dunno. Could be worth making a call/email to Warmoth to ask about getting one made for you.

Thanks for the replies... yeah, it looks like a paddle or asking for some warmoth one-off might be the only way to go. Just seems strange everyone out there makes Fender clones (and therefore competes against everyone out there), but don't even offer an option for a symmetrical 2x2 headstock.

There are some Luthiers out there who will build you a one-off custom neck, exactly what you want. I built custom necks myself for many years, but I'm retired from that now.

I can recommend Jeremy Kirsch, who goes by the name of Freekmagnet over on Luthier's Corner. The neck you are asking for would be simple and routine for him. Check out this thread for his ongoing shop projects, including many custom necks:

You can PM him for a quote. You are probably looking at $500-$700 depending on details and level of finish.

I buy the paddle style headstocks because I like reversed style headstocks.
Not very many people make those either.
