Does this Rick look a bit odd to you?

It's a Rick - this is the version of Macca's bass as it exsists today - after the psychedelic finish of "Magical Mystery Tour" The Beatles sanded off the finish of their respective instruments (Lennon's Epiphone Casino for example). Sir Paul just got a little carried away, thus rehaping the body. The jetglo finish is rare for this model, so I've been told - the usual and Macca correct finish is maple satin stain.

BTW, if you look at the link to the Rickenbacker website, it mentions a body modification, so yes, the body is different.
