At the beginning of the bar band classic Don't Stop Believin by Journey, is the bassline actually a bass or keyboard? I always thought it was bass, my keyboardist thinks it's keys of course, lol. He wants to start when he feels like it with no 4 count, so I don't even get a chance to start on time. Then he doesn't do the anticipated notes, so we are never really in synch anyway. I'm thinking its best for the band if I just come in on the chorus.
