Dopamine shopping - solution for GAS?

I had developed a little shopping addiction during the pandemic lockdown, so I started taking my Amazon cart and clicking save for later on everything. I’d go back a week later and if it still felt like a good idea, I’d buy it.

The dopamine release is real.

as long as I can message the sellers asking how much is weighs, even though i'd never really buy it, i'd be happy.

Saw this on local news today, concept started in S. Korea. For shopaholics, so they can browse and buy, but of course nothing gets delivered. Perhaps they will "fake sell" basses too? Solution to GAS? I don't know, TB serves that function pretty well for me
Whenever I go to checkout at Amazon there is a bunch of stuff in the cart already. I ask my wife if she wants to order that stuff and she says I can go ahead and delete it.

I think my wife already uses the amazon cart for this. And it's free.

I fear for the future.
We are living in yesterday's future, I fear for today, I anticipate the future.

I can tell you I obsess over every purchase, from a set of screwdrivers to a vehicle.

I research, research, research and often I still regret purchases, and often impulse buys pan out better.

Wanting is always better than having, discipline takes time and practice to master.

No more credit usage for me, If I can't afford it now, I don't need it.

It reminds me of Binky, which is kinda like social media without the social media part, if that makes any sense:

Binky is an infinite feed of random things ("binks") to look at. What will come up next? Cauliflower? Diana Ross? Keep scrolling to find out! Unlike similar apps such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, Binky won't stress you out or make you hate your friends.
