Double Bass double jack to mini jack adaptor

Hi guys,
At rehearsals when we're learning covers its useful to play the song through a cab and for us to play along with it. I play my iPod through the input on my amp. However, this means I cant play becuase I only have one input.
Is there a double jack to single jack adaptor? I have a minijack to jack adaptor which I use to lpug the line output of my iPod into the cab - so I need a double jack (to plug the iPod and my bass into) to jack so I can play the music and play along to it at the same time. Does such a thing exist? I cant find one on Google.

Do you have a PA? All of the newer PA's have a channel reserved for an aux device like an iPod. I can't imagine trying to combine an iPod and pickup signal into a single channel/cable and getting good results.

No, we dont have a PA. :/
I can find 2 MINI jack to min jack Y adaptor - but not a normal minijack adaptor!!!

These cables are only used to grab a single signal into two following devices, which means one output into two inputs. That usually works.
Don't use these cables to feed two signals into one input. It won't work well and may damage the outputs.

when I listen to music thru my bass amp, i use a cable that converts the stereo signal to mono... that way you don't loose any signal -

To run two signals into a single input head, you need a multichannel outboard preamp. "Y-Jacking" stereo to mono may work OK, but joining two things with such different levels and impedances such as you're describing in this way? It probably won't damage anything, but will just give a very poor result.

It seems like a better solution would be to just get a separate powered speaker setup to play the Ipod. In my day it was called a "BoomBox", and there were also some other names for it, often racially insensitive
