Quick tip: Once you have the template in place on the blank you're about to rout, take a clamp and apply some pressure at a number of points along the tape joint. It helps the binding and prevents shifting. Also, clean the template and wood with naptha first to make sure there's no greasy fingerprints preventing a good sticking bond.
