Is it possible to bow the low E string with the octave above (on the A string) as a double stop? I don't play the instrument so I don't know if there would be an issue with the bow possibly inadvertently making contact with the D string.

    Cheers.

    Very Possible.
The D string would not be an issue.
    IMO.
