I have not....we are rebuilding me from the ground up....not sure if I am ready for it!Have you gotten him to show you some of his licks from "That's The Joint" yet?
Doug has relatives in the Bahamas, visits there from time to time, and enjoys the beach. I read this and actually believed he really got bit by a shark !!
Sort of....I was an executive chef for 14 years....Now I am in High end food sales.....I sell the best products to the best chefs and consult on menus and such....
The bass on that track still kills me when I listen to it. Great playing. I'd love to be in your shoes!
Doug is touring with Aerosmith this summer( opening with Living Colour).....gonna be tough to get my lessons in!
Doug does an impression of Mick Jagger's speaking voice that makes me howl with laughter. He's got enough history with him to draw a lot of stories from.
We talk a lot...My one hour lessons can run nearly two hours....He knows everyone! I may be listing some of his spare high end basses for him soon....he has an amazing collection!
