Douglas Bridge - Setting Intonation

Hey, folks, I received a 5 string Douglas bass off rondomusic.com as a gift. Problem is, around the 12th fret it starts going sharp. I need to set the intonation, but the bridge doesn't seem to have that option. The string saddles can move up and down, but they seem to be set on some kind of spring system, so the string height doesn't really move at all. There are other screws which I THOUGHT adjusted my intonation, but they don't seem to do anything.

Does anyone have experience with these types of bridges? I may try taking the strings off to get a better angle of attack.

What model douglas?

those are a PITA to set; best to keep the string tight, loosen that set screw, then use a little hammer and a thin stick like a dowel rod to tap the saddle forward or back to get it where you want.
