Double Bass DPA4099b stopped working w/ Headway EDB-2

Hello everyone,

Anyone using the DPA4099b mic with the Headway could possibly explain to me whats going on? I was doing recordings with a DSLR yesterday when the DPA4099b stopped working with the Headway EDB-2. I have a few recordings where it was working and sounding fine, then for some reason it stopped working with the EDB-2.

I plugged the DPA to my RME Fireface audio interface and it works everytime. I tried plugging an AKG C414 to the EDB-2 and thats working fine. But for some reason the DPA and the EDB-2 will not work together anymore!! Ofcourse, I have phantom power on...

I tried plugging a the EDB-2 to a wallwart and that seems to make no difference in the behavior... Wish I could figure it out!

Have you checked the phantom power on the EDB-2?
Maybe that part of the EDB is not functioning correctly.
Try to measure the phantom power without the mic first. If it's there then plug in the mic and measure it again (you might need to open an XLR connector to be able to access the contacts for this).
