DR LoRiders

Im VERY confused

are loriders flatwound or halfwound or somehitng completely different.

Theyre supposedly "hex core" ?

but they sound so FAT and awesome like rounds

can someone please clear this up for me once and for all?:p

DR calls them "compression wound". They have a round outer wire wound at a higher-than-regular tension around a hexagonal core wire, which DR claims crams more metal into a given diameter. Perhaps the main reason they're so high tension. They're my all time favorite roundwound.
