DR NEON Alternative?

Hey everyone,

So I've been really digging the tone of these DR Neon strings but I'm looking for something a little less harsh on the eyes. Are there any strings that have a similar coating on them but are just plain silver? I've tried the dragon skin coated strings by DR and they were drastically different tonally.

I believe the Dragon Skins are steels, which is why they sounded so different. What you want are the Silver Stars. They're nickel like the neons.

Aurora has coated silver strings also.

All the colored DR are the same, so Black Beauty or Silver Stars would be good.
