Dragonfire active pj set. Price too good to be true?

I'm on a serious budget (new born baby) and want to anxiously finish a bass project. I'm working on a PJ and play a lot of slap pop style.
Are dragonfire's too good to be true??
Need some honest feed back please!!

I put one of their alnico humbuckers in a project guitar I built a few years ago. I loved it. I've never tried their bass pickups. The guy that runs the business can seem kind of rude. He's just really short with his words. If you know what you're looking for, he'll hook you up, and you'll get your order in a timely manner.
