Drew’s not one to be to fussy about pickups etc. The first time I saw him play with FRED HERSCH he was using an old Walter Woods MI-00-8 with a Shure SM 58 surrounded with foam stuck between the bridge feet. The next two times with Mark he used my wife’s Kniling flat back with either a Ehrlund EAP or a Realist Life Line. In my experience with Drew, he’s a Bass Dejour guy when he’s on the road. It’s usually less expensive to use a loaner and less hassle.
