Drop D jamming problem

Ole I know what your saying, there is something about playing hardcore that you must move around the sword action bass and such. Also there is the feel of being able to hit the open D on a break down and the power it has to get the crowd into a windmill frenzy, but I've done that in Standard Tuning.
