They're pretty different units that have their own purposes, I'd say. The OCSD is a speaker simulator, so it gives you great EQ options that you could use for IEMS, front of house, and for changing the character of your speaker cab(s).

Myself, I run a set of cabs that is very transparent and full range - so the OCS is an integral part of my chain because I use to shape my sound.

This is a great EQ-ish pedal with really responsive settings. That said, it doesn't have any gain or distortion - that's just not what this unit is meant for.
