Dual Channel amp opinions

I'm in the market for a dual channel ( single output ) amp. I'm considering the Warwick LWA 1000 ( controversies and all ) but noticed the recent classifieds listing of an Acoustic Image Focus 2R. I don't think the channel voicing presents an issue.

My needs are for electric bass and Moog Sub37 through single cab ( Genz Benz 212 neox at the moment ) and the occasional need ( desire ) to go from one to the other very quickly for a few bars. I've used a Lehle switcher in the past but it would be best not have to pedal an input change.

So, having played neither amp, I like to know if any TBrs have any thoughts on the matter. thanks

I think you would be better served with a pre amp, small mixer, and a power amp.

For most of my doubling gigs I use a Michael Pope MPP2 with a power amp and am pleased with the results. I have another rig that is all mounted to a pedalboard. GK MB800 is the amp on the pedalboard. I have a small pre for upright, an Aggie TH Di for electric with a switcher at the end. Works great and sets on top of my cab very quickly. Super convenient with tons of options. Thanks for the thoughts and while I already own a two channel GK amp from an old PA, adding a PopeMPP2, cools as it is, is double the cost of the Warwick or Acoustic Image and this gig rig won't see that much action.

I think you are mistaken. How much does that AI amp cost?

Pre amp - Aguilar Tone Hammer Preamp / Direct Box Bass Pedal | Musician's Friend

Power amp - Crown XLS1500 DriveCore Series Power Amp | Musician's Friend

$600 for a rig that will mix both signals.

Right, but that is one of many pre amp options.

It's like me citing lab groupen for a power amp and then saying power amps are out of my price range.
