Ever since the switch to e-mail notification links that did not include the actual reply, the e-mail links on my phone go to my browser and not to the TalkBass app. Is this a bug or a "feature"? Is it possible it's on my end? That I know of, I was never given the chance to open these links in the app---they all defaulted to the browser.

Samsung Galaxy S4, do not know exact version of TB/Tapatalk app or Android.

BUMP

Issue also raised here (http://www.talkbass.com/threads/email-notifications-include-transcript-of-new-posts.1021283/), and we concluded the app needs to be updated to reflect the new URL format in e-mail links, but there was no ultimately resolution. Seems like a pretty serious issue to me.

I'm sorry, the Tapatalk developers have their own schedule and agendas. We can only control what you see in your web browser. Not the best situation, I know. But we do provide a 100% responsive website for your mobile browser, at least ;)

I'll put in my request again and see what we can do.

Okay, I didn't know how that hierarchy worked or that it was out of your hands, but on the other hand I didn't know if it was being addressed at all. In any case, thanks for looking into it and providing this info, hopefully they will be responsive to your more recent request.

How about if we get Google Push Notifications working - then you wouldn't even need emails any more ;)
