I am writing to get an understanding about Eb and D necks.

1) What are the pluses and minuses of Eb and D necks?

2) Which of the following plywood basses are Eb necks and which are D neck? American Standard, King Mortone, Kay, Epiphone and Englehardt? I've listed these because they have been part of music journey in playing bass.
